Embedding Googledocs Chart
-
Hey guys,
I´ve been trying for days to embed a diagram from googledocs spreadsheets into my wordpress blog. but for some reason everytime I try to publish the Blogpost the linke transfers itself to a “normal” link to the actual chart. So the chart itself doesn´t show up on the page.
here is how that looks:
the embed link from googledocs:
<iframe width=”301″ height=”304″ seamless frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” src=”https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UVgz4ZVV0bZOnS43JyO2L8AVA9cx28aV5sgTke_eGgE/pubchart?oid=1959205596&format=interactive”></iframe>
and what wordpress makes of it:
Would be awesome If you could give me a hand on that.
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. It looks like there’s a couple of mistakes in the embed code.
First off, the seamless attribute should be seamless=”seamless”, but that doesn’t have any effect in any case as this attribute is not supported in any major browser at present (http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_iframe_seamless.asp)
Second, the scrolling and frameborder attributes are no longer supported in html5, so they also have no effect. Only way I can find to get rid or the scrollbars is to change the dimensions of the frame so it won’t need a scrollbar.
This embed code works on my test blog, so it should do the trick for you as well:
<iframe width="305" height="309" src="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UVgz4ZVV0bZOnS43JyO2L8AVA9cx28aV5sgTke_eGgE/pubchart?oid=1959205596&format=interactive"></iframe> -
Keep in mind that when you update the post after entering that code you still won’t see the image in the post editor, but the googledocs shortcode. That’s what’s supposed to happen. When you view/preview the post on the blog itself you’ll see the image instead of the shortcode.
