Embedding html interactive file to WordPress
-
I have a question – can I put in a blogpost an .html file from my computer which contains an interactive picture without installing any plugins? I’m looking for a solution which can be used in basic subscription plan or without it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

hi,
What ‘interactive picture’ do you have in mind?
Here are the media types you can include in posts on WordPress.com.

Hi,
The picture I mean is a plotly (python lib) plot. I have it stored as an.html file but not sure how I can put it to my blog.

hi,
I doubt that it can be added into WordPress.com post.
Perhaps you can share it in a Jupyter Notebook on Google’s Colaboratory

Hi cotumabyc,
Embedding Plotly graphs isn’t supported by default however, you may be able to accomplish this using a plugin. Two came up in my search for “Plotly”:

Custom plugins are only supported on the Business plan so you would need to upgrade in order to use them on eloelo3210.wordpress.com.
Come back to me if you have any questions.
