Embedding music and video

  is it possible to embed music from imeem?
  because i tried the [audio http://…..} from the faq and it does not work
  any recommendations for uploading? like other websites?

  and i cant embed videos into my post.
  i removed the tick on the visual editor button on my page and pasted the code from youtube but somehow it doesnt show….

  help?

  Use the WP.com shortcode for YouTube, as it seems to work most often. That’s the [ youtube=URL ] version. And Imeem does not seem to work with WordPress.com; because it’s Flash, it’s stripped out for security reasons. If you can get the URL of the exact MP3, then you could put it in the audio player, assuming that Imeem allows hotlinking. It sounds like you’re using the URL of the page the music is on instead.

  you can post imeem thru vodpod, it works for me!
