embedding originally shot video
-
I can’t upload a mov document (that I shot in camera) saved in Quicktime. All support mentions URLs, but if it’s original footage I want to post, what do I need to do?

Howdy,
If you’re looking to upload video to your media library, you’d need to purchase the VideoPress upgrade:
Don’t hesitate to contact us again if you need anymore help. :-)

I have purchased the upgrade.
The video I uploaded never got passed the “This video is in progress” stage.
It still says this though it appears in my media archive folder. It won’t preview and insert to the post — even though it has been 12 or so hours ago that it was uploaded.
When I try to view it, I’m directed to a page “not found”.
Please explain. -
The video codec used was a proprietary format that we can’t transcode.
Instead, open the file in QuickTime Player, and choose “Export for Web” from the file menu.
If that doesn’t work, use http://www.mirovideoconverter.com/ to export it in a MP4 format.
