Embedding playlist code unto homepage of WordPress site

  Hello,
  I am trying to embed an audio player onto the home page of my site. For some reason, the code keeps showing up as a link to the third-party site that has the playlist. I’m wanting for it instead to show up as the audio player. In order to do this, do I need to purchase a plan? Please help.
