Embedding Policy Code

I need to embed my Termageddon created policies onto my website. I have the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service Policy, & Cookie Consent Policy to add. I copied & pasted the custom HTML from Termageddon onto two new pages for the Privacy & Terms of Service Policies, but the policies don’t show up on the page. Instead, it says “Please wait while the policy is loaded. If it does not load, please click here to view the privacy policy.” and it gives a link to a separate page outside of the site. I am using the “Assembler” theme and I added the blocks I needed to build my site, so I don’t know if that is what is affecting this. I am not a web developer; this is my first time building a site.

I also understand that I can use a Termageddon plugin to add the Cookie Consent Policy; however, I’m on the Premium Plan with no intention of upgrading to Business Plan if at all possible. Is it possible to add these policy codes to a website on Premium Plan or am I obligated to upgrade to Business if I want these policies added?

Let me know if anything is unclear or have questions for more clarity. Thank you in advance for anyone’s help and insight on this.

The html code you can use on the wordpress.com platform is very limited – https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/custom-html-block/#supported-code

If you want to add that custom code to your site, you must upgrade to the Business Plan. However you really don’t need that plugin as you can create those pages yourself as simple wordpress.com page – https://wordpress.com/support/your-site-and-the-gdpr/
