Embedding Spotify

  I’m trying to embed a Spotify playlist. I’ve done this before without problems, but today WP is only displaying the link. I’m using the text editor with [embed] tags. The tags might not be necessary, but in either case, I don’t get the player.

  Hi there,

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com, and we don’t support use of the [embed] shortcode on WordPress.com

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, you want the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

  But that said, Spotify embeds are not currently working anywhere, because something has changed on Spotify’s end in this regard. There are open bug reports for this issue on both WordPress.com and WordPress.org, but this is something Spotify needs to fix.
