  Never done it.

  When I click on embed on Vimeo it says to copy and paste the code, but when click add video on WP, it wants me to go find a file.

  I give up.

  Embeds won’t work with wordpress.com blogs. Try it this way:

  Vimeo

  I just tried from computer as well. Nothing.

  I’ll just give up. There appears to be no way to get a video on wordpress.

  Guys – After countless hours I have cracked this!!!!!!!!!! I can help you and I will even make it simple

  TO Embed Vimeo on wordpress.

  1. Upload your video to vimeo

  2. You will get a video ID number

  for example, this came in my confirmation e-mail

  You can watch it here:
  http://vimeo.com/3429763

  So the 3429763 is your video ID

  SIMPLY go to make a new post

  ALL YOU ENTER is this:

  [vimeo http://vimeo.com/ENTER YOUR VIDEO ID NUMBER HERE (example below)

  [vimeo http://vimeo.com/3429763%5D

  THIS IS ALL YOU ENTER IN THE TEXT FIELD [vimeo http://vimeo.com/3429763%5D

  publish it and click view blog and you will see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Now if you want to make it larger its so easy – do this

  [vimeo http://vimeo.com/3429763 w=600&h=500] (just enter your video number where the default is)

  It took me so long and I would not be helpful unless i helped you guys out!
