embedding video clip from Youtube and just shows URL link.

In my last post, I tried to embed a youtube clip. I followed the instructions i.e. copy & pasted the URL address into my posting, and it still only shows this url address, not the video clip. Any help please?

You may have to paste the embed code into the post instead of the URL. If you look at the youtube video and click embed, it will give you a bunch of text that you have to paste in your post, and it should show up as the youtube video. I use this method on my blog.

Okay, I visited your blog, and I think you added too much of the URL. Try pasting this in the post instead: http://youtu.be/kFDYvK5AYQ4. That should get the YouTube video showing.

I think I have resolved my problem now, by using the ’embed’ button on Youtube and copy & pasting the details in to my post.

Hi. I think I used ‘visual’ to embed the video clip. I didn’t use the shortcode, but the whole of the embed code.
