embedding video from my own domain site/server host

  Hi all,

  I was not able to embed link to video on my own domain, although it does play well outside WPress.

  Any idea if I need VideoPress to do this as well? Or else? If YouTube etc. work, also another server/link should work. No? Am I missing something?

  I searched the forums but did not seem to find anything. Wrote to Support, but got no answer :-(

  You can simply register at http://vodpod.com and upload it there. Then you use the Vodpod button to embed it in your WordPress.com blog.

  If you do a search of the Support docs rather than the forum, you’ll find there are few video platforms which are enabled here:
