Embedding video link

  I am having trouble with embedding a video link (<iframe width=’560′ height=’315′ src=’https://www.youtube.com/embed/bgDLMSIeiag’ frameborder=’0′ allowfullscreen></iframe>). In the past this function (insert/edit link) has worked fine but recently the link is not bringing up the video. I have tried different links to no avail. Any suggestions? Cheers, John

  You can copy the YouTube link and paste directly in the Visual editor, video will automatically be loaded which you can preview as well in the editor.

  Alternatively, you can also use YouTube shortcode. In your case, since you want to specify a custom width and height, it would be:
  [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgDLMSIeiag&w=560&h=315]

  Each of the options suggested by ehtis will create embedded videos, while you’re intention is apparently to insert a link to a video.

  The code
  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bgDLMSIeiag">https://www.youtube.com/embed/bgDLMSIeiag</a>
  creates a link to a full screen video if directly pasted into the content of a post or page. When using the “Insert/edit” tool, on the other hand, you would use the corresponding video URL as your destination URL in the “Insert/Edit” popup page. In this case, the video URL is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgDLMSIeiag.
