Embedding videos

  I’ve often had trouble embedding video’s from news sites. Why can’t successfully embed the video located at the following <iframe width=”362″ height=”204″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” src=”http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/video/videoEmbed.html?uuid=8fb5447a-109e-11e2-be82-c3411b7680a9″></iframe>

  Hi there,

  I don’t think this is a WordPress issue. You are linking to a flash video which will only work if you have a flash plugin. Also you’re at the mercy of the Washington Post servers and their setup.

  WordPress provide shortcodes for the major video sites. These are a better source of videos because they provide better support for multiple devices.
