Embedding Videos From Porn Tube Sites

    First off – N00b here…..

    That out of the way, I’m in the process of building an adult-oriented blog site featuring a text based erotica writing blog & blogs with embedded videos from various porn tube sites that provide embed code for blogs & websites as that’s my thing (As admittedly naughty as it is :) )

    Of course EACH & EVERY blog & EACH & EVERY blog post will be flagged appropriately as per the TOS ((NOTE – NO child stuff will EVER be posted)

    In short, my question boils down to HOW can this be done on WordPress (I’m TOTALLY new to the WP platform too)

    Help would be appreciated :)

    No pornographic material is allowed here. From the Terms of Service at http://en.wordpress.com/tos/
    Please don’t:
    •Post explicit sexual materials that can be considered pornographic, such as explicit images or video of sexual acts or close-up images of genitalia;
    •Post links or banner ads to adult-oriented affiliate networks, such as pornography site signups;
    •Post links, text, or images promoting or advertising escort services;
    •Post images of extreme violence or gore without associated context or commentary;
    •Post images of child pornography;
    •Post content that promotes pedophilia, such as blogs with galleries of images of children where the images, content surrounding the images, or the intent of the blog is sexually suggestive.

    The video embeds that WordPress.com supports for all of our blogs – no upgrade required are found here.

    The VideoPress upgrade include in the Premium upgrade bundle allows you to upload videos from your computer for hosting and playback directly within your blog (or on another site you can designate).

    However, if you upload them to youtube or another supported video source site then you do not need the upgrade.

    Not to worry as I reported the blog as mature for you and added the link back to this forum thread when I did so. The report blog link is in the drop down menu on your Admin bar on the front on the blog on the top left hand corner.

    There is no warning notice page provided here. You create a static front page and post one of your own making on it if you want to.

    This is what I did for you. > You can go to the front of your blog and click the “report blog” link in the dropdown to report it to Staff as “mature”. For details re: mature content blogs.
    A blog that is marked as Mature is excluded from public areas of the WordPress.com service. This means:

    It is not eligible to be featured in Freshly Pressed on the front page of WordPress.com
    It will not appear in global tag listings
    It will not appear in Top Blogs listings, recent posts, or related posts listings on other blogs
    The blog’s users cannot use that URL as a link in their WordPress.com Forums profile

    Bottom line: Hire a web host that allows such pornographic content and set up a WordPress.ORG install.

    FTR – The videos WILL NOT be hosted by WP !!

    The embed code provided BY THE VIDEO HOST SITE will only link to THE HOST SITE where the video itself is hosted (At the exact URLof the video itself). IT WILL NOT LINK TO A VIDEO HOSTED BY WORDPRESS !!!

    I DO NOT plan to use WP to host videos (There are better, more appropriate places for this)

    Also, as I said before – NO kiddie porn will EVER be posted & EACH & EVERY post in EACH & EVERY blog INCLUDING my erorica writing blog WILL be reported as containing adult material AS PER THE TOS (Therefore I ALREADY KNOW it won’t appear in Freshly Pressed, certain top blogs listings , etc & CONCEDE to that)

    In the meantime, I’ll take a look at the support page regarding videos but I hope my response sets the record straight & better clarifies things

    If it doesn’t, then perhaps someone who posts erotica stuff can better address this ??

    Hi pcnaughtyboy,

    While we do permit mature content on WordPress.com (as long as it’s flagged as such) we do not allow pornographic content on WordPress.com. We define pornographic content as: “sexual materials that can be considered pornographic, such as images or video of explicit sexual acts or close-up images of genitalia” If you plan to host/embed such content you’ll Not want to use WordPress.com to host your site.

    You’ll want to find a host that allows pornographic content and use the free and open source version of WordPress from WordPress.org.
