Embedding Videos if you Buy a Domain

  If I buy a domain thru wordpress or another service, will I then be able to embed videos from video sharing sites that aren’t supported in free wordpress blogs?

  No. But you could be able to upload your own videos if you buy their space upgrade.

  Playing your uploaded videos that are hosted within wp.com space is on hold.

  The restriction due to security concerns still holds though even with the domain purchase.

  If it’s an issue that needs to be bypassed, there is the option of downloading a copy of wordpress from http://wordpress.org and finding a host. With that method, you would have complete control over your posts and what resides within them.
