embedding vimeo and other videos

  why does vimeo and myspace videos and others only link the video when you use the embedding code, but youtube posts the video on the blog??

  i am new to this, but have heard posting vimeo clips is difficult.
  im sure someone knows what i am doing wrong and how i can easily fix my problem.
