  I’ve followed all the instructions and it keeps saying ‘Sorry this content could not be embedded. It doesn’t say why.

  Hi there – It sounds like you have tried following the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/videos/vimeo/

  At the bottom of that support guide is a few troubleshooting points that are working looking into if you haven’t seen them yet.

  Personally speaking, I’ve had this happen before on my own blog and it was because the privacy settings for the video did not support it being embedded.

  If it’s still not embedding, send us a link to the video on Vimeo and we’ll try it ourselves to see what we find. :)
