embedding youtube video

  This morning I want to embed a youtube video to a post. It is 16+ minutes long. I have embedded youtube videos many times past, but this morning I can only insert a hyperlink to the youtube, rather than to make the youtube screen and button appear in the post. Has something changed about the procedure for embedding? Is the film too long? Is there a tutorial for this procedure?
