embedding youtube video url

I have followed the tutorial instructions. Very simple hit share ,hit embed, copy URL and past on its own line in page editor.

All I see on the view page is the URL but no video.

If I do a preview I can see the video but once I publish only the URL is showing.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Make sure the YouTube link is not hyperlinked. If the URL is visible in your post/page editor and is in your theme’s link color (as the second line in the screenshot below), then it is hyperlinked. Simply select the whole URL and click the “Unlink” icon on your Visual Editor toolbar.

    ok, so
    <iframe width=”853″ height=”480″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/lMRaLTQ1yu4?rel=0&controls=0&showinfo=0″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

the part starting at “https: to just before frameborder” is highlighted in the coloured type on the home page and I went to the Edit Page and highlighted the entire paste and then hit the “unlink” icon then published again but nothing happened on the static home page.

Do I only unlink the portion showing colour on the home page? Actually I tried that too but no luck.

    Forget the <iframe> tag.

    You can use two ways:
    a) Embedding with a URL
Just copy & paste the URL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMRaLTQ1yu4 into a post/page.

    b) Embedding with a Shortcode
Copy & paste this code into a post/page

    [youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMRaLTQ1yu4]

I see that you put a video from YouTube, following my instructions:

    You’re welcome. ;)

Yes I tried it today and it worked. I was using the visual editor and when I switched to the text editor and used your URL it worked.

However at the end of the video I get Youtube suggestions showing and I don’t want them showing. I want the screen to be black. Some forum comments suggest I need to remove the youtube cookies but I am not sure where to find these…in my browser internet options? or are they somewhere in youtube?

Your help is much appreciated Galois.
