Embedding YouTube videos

  For the last few days any YouTube videos I embed on either of my two main blogs (http://inthebible2010.wordpress.com and http://briisunashamed.wordpress.com) do not show up. The really weird thing is, though, that they show up on my iPod Touch. It’s not just my computer, though, as they don’t work for my brother either.

  Any ideas what must be wrong? Do the videos show for any of you?

  There are many threads about this. It’s because both WP.com and YouTube have been changing things. Until this gets settled down, use the shortcode ONLY to put youtubes in your blog. The shortcode looks like:

  [youtube=URL]

  H mmm … I posted 3 youtube videos today and experienced no problems at all.

  Never mind. I was using the shortcode, but after chopping off part of the URL, I got it to work.

  Using the shortcode correctly requires using ONLY the URL in the Share box, nothing in addition like all the “found through related search” stuff that YouTube adds.
