Embeded code I cant
-
Hi,
I can’t edit my blog. My friend started it with my domain name and now, though she is exceptional and a talented wordpress wizard, she doesn’t have time for me because she lives out of van and does many other related things for fun. I can’t change my theme or edit her work because its soooo permanent. When I try it just says, “Cheatin’ huh?” WTF does that mean? I cant even erase it! I can do nothing with my own wordpress which sucks because it is really, really attached to my domain name. Is it just going to stay for another five years at the top of google and do nothing? I’d like to make it function for what is intended for someday. Can I please just start from scratch? Like I need another wizard. I would just pay wordpress to rest me but…they should make a reset button. Thanks wizards. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Just ask her to bless you with the Administrator privilege on your blog. It doesn’t take lot of her time. She will still be the owner of our site but it doesn’t matter much unless she decides to kill your blog.
If she has little bit of spare time, she can Transfer your Blog to Another WordPress.com User or Account designated by you, which this time hopefully be your own :-)

Thank you so much for replying for replying. I believe I have done this already. I am the administrator to my knowledge and the it says so on my dash. Yet, I can not change or remove her logo in the header, I can not change the theme and I can not erase the blog. When I try, It just says ” Cheatin’ huh?” There is no customer service to unpaid customers. Its been like this for years now. Ugh. Its like a perfectly useless thing. If I am the administrator, how do I reset everything?

What “embed code” are you trying to use? It sounds like you’re trying stuff that works at WordPress.ORG when you have a WordPress.COM blog. Don’t do that.
Follow the instructions in the Support documents here to change the header, and whatever else you want. http://support.wordpress.com/
