  the embeded excel spreadsheet doesn´t let visitors edit the variables

  Hi there!

  It appears as if OneDrive may not give non-invited users access to your sheet.

  I suggest using Google Docs:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-docs/

  You can create a public document that will also embed into your site. This sheet is editable for you viewers.
