Embeded pinterest – can't cancel link to display the widget
-
Hi there,
I already read the support post on this case, and i should just have to cancel the link on my pinterest url.
I’m doing it on visual editor by clicing the unlink button. But it doesn’t work….
I put the mouse on the middle of the url or select the whole stuff. Neither of this works.Past the embeded script given by pinterest doesn’t work either.
Do you have a clue about this issue? (well i manage to do it once XD but that’s it i don’t know how….)
Regards,
AurélieThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The only way to verify a WordPress.com blog for Pinterest is here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#pinterest-site-verification
We cannot use JavaScript pin-it widgets or buttons http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascript nor can we install any plugins on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. They are for WordPress.ORG installs.
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/You can capture an image of a Pinterest icon and upload it, link to it and display it in a text widget. I have done this here in the text widget at the top of my sidebar for those who want to follow me on Pinterest http://thistimethisspace.com/ and here on my About page
http://thistimethisspace.com/about/For creating links in a text widget see:

NOTE http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/#adding-an-imageYou can upload image files by clicking the Add Media button right above the editing area of a page or a post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/
You can also upload new files to your Media Library using Media → Add New. http://support.wordpress.com/media/media-add-new

For troubleshooting see http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/troubleshooting-images/You can enable sharing icons below your posts by following this guide

On WordPress.com, you can easily embed your Pinterest profile, boards, or individual pins simply by pasting the links into any post or page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/embed-from-pinterest/

Do you know why i can’t unlink an url?
You have to highlight ie. select the link first with your mouse and then click the break link icon.

Having the exact same problem. I paste the code like it says, highlight it, select unlink, click update and it’s a link with no pretty picture
