Hello there,
A forums search turned up the fact that there is not way that we can use to resize dailymotion videos at this time. -
-
I’m sorry the response wasn’t a positive one. You’re welcome and best wishes with your blog. :)

Hi timethief,
I was puzzled about that for a very long time, but I’ve found that you can resize dailymotion videos when you post them using the gigya method.
-
Well that’s helpful. Thanks :)

thanks everyone, but it doesn’t work for me : I got a blank square (like when flash plugin crashes) but it isn’t the flash plugin: other FLV work fine.

What is the exact code you are using?
For the purpose of these forums only, please insert the code between backticks ( ` ) (not apostrophes!) otherwise we may not be able to see the code.

I’m using that code:
[gigya src="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x45d68_opiaces-et-tranquillisants-1-3_news" width="425" height="349" wmode="transparent" allowFullScreen="true" ] -
That won’t work, because the URL you’ve used is the URL of the page, not the video. As my post says, you need to copy the video URL from the flash embed code. In your case:
http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/video/x45d68 -
In the future, if you post alot of videos you can post with a vodpod account as well, This includes dailymotion.
[vodpod id=##&w=##&h=## etc. etc]and change the w number and h number inside the shortcode to resize your vodpod embed.
it should work on any video posted with vodpod, including videos from daily motion.
just an suggestionjust an example of the video resizes with the vodppod shortcode:
