Embeding Home Search Widget

    I am a Keller Williams Real Estate agent, and our company provides a home search widget that we can paste into sites and blogs. My code keeps being stripped. The search app is vital for our business. At the least I would like to embed the site page into the wordpress page, but that is not allowed either. Please help!

    Hi there. If your widget contains any JavaScript or Flash code, or certain types of html tags it won’t work here as there are some code restrictions on WordPress.com for security reasons. There’s no way around that, I’m afraid: http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

    You also cannot embed a page from another website into WordPress.com. At most you can take a screenshot of another website and insert that here as an image file. You can only link to outside websites.

    If this function is vital to your business, as you say, the you’ll need to buy your own domain and hosting and install the WordPress.ORG software that does not have these restriction.
