  Why don’t embeds seem to work on my site? I recently changed to the beach theme, does this not support embeds? At the end of each blog post I have a link to buy my book and recently it just displays the link so I have started adding a link to a picture of my book. Now I want to blog an info graphic which is on a pdf file. I’ve added the link to my media page but all thats dispalyed is . . the link! What am I doing wrong?

  Hello there,

  PDFs are document files, and therefore, they are not embeddable as images. They can only be added to pages/posts for your visitors to download.

  If you would like your book cover to act as a button on your site, you will need to convert it to one of our accepted graphic file types:

  .jpg
  .jpeg
  .png
  .gif

  If you’re not sure how to do this on your own, you can use one of many free online converters, such as this one:
  http://pdf2jpg.net/
