Embeds, polls and links will not work properly on the weekends

Why do I have such trouble starting on Fridays and going throughout the weekend with embeds, links, or polls being properly placed on blog? They just wont embed into the sight. They are on my draft pages and saved, but when you look on the actual posting they are not there! Very frustrating!

I can assure you that while we are constantly updating WordPress.com, we don’t change anything specifically for the weekends. Is it possible that you’re editing your site from a different computer or network on the weekends versus the weekdays?
Can you link me to a post where you’re having trouble?

I use the same computer from the same place every day. http://cadyluckleedy.com/2014/04/07/a-photo-a-week…llenge-backlit/ That and the three previous posts as well. I can’t get the google maps to embed. The links go to google and say they are not working and the star ratings on the polls just don’t work on anything on the weekends.

I don’t see a poll or Google Maps embed in the post you linked to, but I do see one here:
It looks like a recent update to our Google Maps shortcode generator broke a little bit. I’ve fixed the shortcode in this post for you. If you need to fix any other maps, you can do so by checking the URL in the shortcode. Make sure that the URL is https://maps.google.com/maps/… and not https://www.google.com/maps/…
This should be fixed soon!
Can you give me a link to a post with a poll where your star ratings aren’t working?

And this is all fixed now! You won’t need to change the URLs in the shortcode in the future. :)
