Emergency!!! Blog Is Gone

  My blog used to be at http://seventeentharcanum.com/WhitePhoenixBlog

  It is gone! I need to talk to someone now.

  I was trying to import a table and the plugin created hundreds of useless posts. I was trying to delete them, when all of a sudden I was prompted to install WordPress for the first time.

  How do I get my blog back???

  You are posting to the wrong support forum and creating duplicate threads. reaturn to now https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/i-need-help-now-my-blog-seems-to-be-gone?replies=4#post-1946242 and stop creating duplicate threads in this support forum that’s not even for the software you use.

  Sorry to hear that happened to you– the people who can help you aren’t on this forum though. This is support for WordPress.COM sites. If you go to http://wordpress.org/support they can help you. If you’ve never been there before you’ll need to create a username and password.

  I don’t know if I shared these tips with you previously or not. When you enter a thread :
  1. Click member link under the username and review the username account forum posting history.
  2. Look at the sidebar tags because it’s possible another Volunteer has posted “duplicate” and/or “already answered!”
  3. Confirm the URL if the username is not linked to the same blog the software provides the URL for in the OP.

  Will do. I sometimes answer “easy” questions from my iPad which makes the extra research steps more difficult. It’s helpful to know that habit creates problems in the process of which I was not aware. Thanks as always for sharing your experience and expertise.
