Emoticons are not converted
-
This is the third time I am asking about this. I would be grateful to finally receive an answer and a solution.
I use emoticons in my blog, but since a couple of weeks they don’t convert anymore into the little smileys. I have the box ticked at “formatting” so it should convert. However it doesn’t. Please help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I just posted a post with an emoticon that did not convert. I also have the box ticked under writing settings to do this, and it has not worked.
My post is http://mindrenewers.com/2014/02/14/god-told-me-to-preach-this/.
The last post prior to this in which I used an emoticon was 2 February, and it appears to have worked fine then.

Thank you for your help, but I think there is something else going on. I put the “:)” at the end of a sentence.
I tried it before the period (which I’ve done many times before). “This is my sentence :). Next sentence starts.”
I tried it after the period. “This is my sentence. :) Next sentence starts.”
I tried it with a space between the period and the “:)” and with no space. It isn’t working.

OK, it just worked.
Now, I can locate it before or after the period and it works.
I am not insane, something was going on. Whatever, it works now, thank you for the help.
