emoticons in blog comments

  Is there some where for questions about how to post things “in” the comment sections on Word Press blogs. I see many great little animated emoticons posted in comments and mine just show up as code and I look like a doofus. Well I am a doofus but I really would like to find somewhere to go and learn not to let the world now that I’m a technidiot.
