Empty Blog URL

I am trying to create a new blog, however the URL i want is unavailable. However when you go to the page the title says ‘Delete Blog’ is there any way I can attain this wordpress URL? it is for https://twentysomething.wordpress.com

Hi there, if the site address you want has been deleted by its author, you’ll want to read WordPressdotcom’s policy on recycling blog addresses: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
If the site is still online, the site does not “expire” regardless of when the last post was made on the site. You might be able to contact the site owner through an open comment or contact form and ask if they are willing to transfer the site to you. If they answer positively, they can follow these instructions to do so: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
If the site owner doesn’t answer you, that is the end of the story. There is nothing further that WordPressdotcom will do to assist you in obtaining that site.
