Empty cache contact
-
Hello, I created a category under parenting group but it didn’t work. I guess should be needed empty cache? If yes, how to do it?
Also, as for the Contact page, the theme set the name and email as my personal id and email account. How to empty it? I would like to leave it blank for people to sign.
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The contact form only pre-fills those items for users when they’re logged in. Try logging out of your account or viewing the site in a different browser to see how it displays for normal visitors.
I can’t see those categories on your site, can you give a bit more detail about what you’ve done so far and what you’re trying to achieve.

Thanks @hallluke. I solved the problem of contact part. Thanks thanks.
As for categories, you may see there is “BOOKWORM” under “ART MURMUR”. I actually created “AURA” under “I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR” in dashboard, however, I cannot find it on my site.
Is it because I need to empty cache? Thanks so much

Hi there,
I’m not seeing “AURA” in your menu’s settings. Could you try adding it again?
To recap the steps for you:
- Navigate to My Site in the top left of WordPress.com.
- Select Menus from the left hand side bar.
- Next, select the + icon next to “I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR” and “Add menu item to children.”
- Choose “Category” from the left of the resulting window.
- Select “AURA” and then “Add Item.
- Lastly, remember to save all of your changes to the menu.
Let me know how you get on with that or if the category still isn’t displaying in your menu after re-adding it. We can troubleshoot further from there.

Hi siobhyb,
I followed your steps and added “AURA”, however I can’t find it on my blog post category.
Would you please click this link and see : https://postimg.org/image/ne2h27k29/And actually I thought I should add on Dashboard… However I can’t see “AURA” after I followed your steps.

Hi there. :)
I can see that you’re right, “AURA” isn’t currently listed as a category on your site. You can “Add New Category” using the form shown on the left of your second screenshot to add that as a category, which will then enable you to add it to your menu.

Thanks siobhyb,
Yea, I can add “AURA” when I typing blog post.
However, still have questions…1) 058 -Orion & Angelica, I categorise them into ” I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR” & “AURA”, it’s fine when I click either group. However, ALL-WHITE, I only categorise it into “I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR”, why it shows up when I click “AURA” then?
2) And does it sound not effective at all if I have to click the menu bar to add categories, and do it again on dashboard? Any other ways to do it?
Thanks.

The “AURA” menu item is currently linking to the wrong category. (It’s linking to the “I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR” category).
You can correct this by navigating back to My Site in the top left and Menus in the sidebar. Select the pencil icon next to the “AURA” item to edit it. Make sure you check “AURA” from the list of possible categories and then save your changes.
2) And does it sound not effective at all if I have to click the menu bar to add categories, and do it again on dashboard? Any other ways to do it?
There isn’t an automated way to add new categories to your main menu. In general, though, you should try to keep the number of items in your menu to a minimum and only include important links that you think visitors to your site will need to easily access.
If you’d like to have links to all of your posts’ categories then I suggest adding the Categories Widget to your site’s sidebar. Links to each of your categories will then be displayed in your sidebar and will automatically update each time you add a new one:

Let me know if that’s helpful or if you have extra questions on editing your menu or the categories widget.

Thanks siobhyb,
Actually I want to categorise “AURA” under “I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR.”
My question is why my blog post “ALL-WHITE” isn’t categorise in “AURA” but it shows up when I click “AURA”?Thanks so much for answering me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You do help me a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers. -
Although your menu item is labelled as “AURA,” it’s actually linking to your “I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR” category. This is the reason why you’re seeing the “ALL-WHITE” post when clicking on that item.
In order to change the link, follow the steps I gave previously to edit the menu item.
Let me know how get on or if you need any further clarification.
