What is there to delete? The site appears to be empty ie. devoid of any blogger created content.

Search for:By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the error message will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

thanks for your help. i want everything deleted completely but would prefer to reserve the ability to use the domain name in the future. i never used this site as a blog. but right now a google search of my phone number pulls up my resume on wordpress. i dont want any search to pull up anything on wordpress.

wordpress told me the only way to do this was through their customer service team, but there is no customer service info on their site and it funnels me to the community forum.

i just removed my header and permanently deleted a pdf that was downloaded to media. however the pdf still pops up when i run a google search for my number –> http://amelissameyer.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/melissameyer.pdf. does it take time for google to reflect the change?

IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blog content and deleting blogs does not remove any indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.

You can’t. Every thread here is almost instantly indexed by Google and Bing. Staff will only edit or delete threads wherein there is a specific personal security and safety concern. As you publish content it will drive this thread down in the SERPs.

You can set your blog to private so that no one but invited users of the blog will be able to see it. If you wish to use it at a later date, it will be there just as you left it.
