Empty content of current blog

  Hello, I wanted to use my blog (and its URL) for another purpose than the one that I had been previously using it for. It seems the best way to do this might be to empty the blog of all content, and it says to contact support in order to do that.

  My main concern is that I don’t want the people currently following my blog to be following it for the new purpose that I want to use it for.

  Can you help me? Thanks! The blog is adamliter.wordpress.com.

  Yeah, I downloaded an .xml file of my blog, so I have everything in case I ever want it again. Thanks for the words of caution, but please proceed. Thanks for your help!

  I am not sure that emptying a blog gets rid of its subscribers.

  @litera13: Deleting a blog’s contents would definitely not get rid of its subscribers. Subscribers would continue to receive new content from the blog once you started posting again.
