empty spam

Hi there,
Button “Empty Spam” was available in WP-Admin dashboard. You can now do the same action by pressing “Bulk Edit”, tick the box above all messages, press Delete.
p.s. in case you need to activate WP-Admin dashboard, you can do that in https://wordpress.com/me/account by toggling Dashboard Appearance to the right as described here: https://wordpress.com/support/classic-editor-guide/#how-to-access-the-classic-editor

Hi there,
Comments sent to spam are removed automatically after 30 days, so there is no need to manually empty spam.
But you can still find the Empty Spam button in the WP-Admin comments management page at https://gioaboffa.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=spam
Right now you won’t see the button, because there aren’t any spam comments at the moment.

Good day @kokkieh,
I have a pair of questions:
Is there any difference behind the scenes between Calypso “Bulk Edit”+ “Delete” vs WP-Admin “empty spam”?
It is better to provide a single WP-Admin link as you did rather than manual to toggle Dashboard Appearance? Assume when the case is only about one page – the link is better? -
@maksimurasov, it doesn’t really matter which way you choose, the end result is the same :)
