Empty start page in Firefox
-
After logging in in wordpress.com, I get an empty page. Just the blue bar on the top is visible and the loading…gif. This is also true for -/read, -/my-stats, -/myblogs, I can only activate the menu on the right to go to my dashboard. This only happens in Firefox, IE is working.
Any idea, which setting this could affect? I’m using a pure actual Firefox with just some minor security settings. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I solved the problem myself. It’s “dom.storage.enabled”, which must be set to “true”.
This is really bad news, because flash cookies are a big privacy issue. This opens my browser to any site which uses hidden tracking cookies. It would be nice, if you could give me an explanation, why you use them.
I don’t need that page for editing my blog, but as a newie in the world of blogging, I appreciate your reader to explore other’s work.
Thanks anyway. -
I’m having the same issue—I prefer to use firefox but refuse to open myself to an onslaught of cookie monsters. If anyone has found a way around it, please tell me.

OK, sorry, sorry. I wasn’t up to date. Obviously, with the new versions of Flash and Firefox, I can get rid of the cookies.
