Emptying my WP.com site, currently using self-hosted

  Hi, I have a WordPress.com site that has been forwarding for a while now. I have not updated it since. I am interested in deleting the WP.com site but I want to make sure that doing so will not delete any of my corresponding self-hosted content.

  Can someone clarify this for me?

  Hi @juliemadblogger,

  WordPress.com and Self-Hosted WordPress sites are entirely different entities. Deleting content on either of platforms does not affect the other.

  If you could share the links to both your sites –– I could take a closer look and cross-check further.
