Emptying site of all it's content

I would like to empty my site of all it’s content so that I can keep the same site name but rebuild the blog from scratch. In order to do so the instructions are to contact support and a link is given to this page. So does this message constitute contacting support to empty my site of all it’s content or is there something else I should do?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I did see that post and while I appreciate the effort it, I still wasn’t able to solve my problem. I have a piece of text I wrote that appears on my front that I want to edit/delete but I cannot find it. When I look at my posts in my dashboard it says I have no posts, so I don’t think the piece of text is a post. I have created a media page so I’ve tried setting that as the static front page but even when I do so the piece of text I’m trying to edit/delete still appears at the top of the page. So basically I have this piece of text, (if you go to danieldiller.wordpress.com it’s the only text on the homepage) and I don’t know where to find it in my dashboard to edit it so I’m just trying to figure out how to get rid of it. If you have a better idea than deleting all the content I’m open to suggestions?

    Good morning!

timethief, is there any possibility that the notice displaying on this site is part of some leftover functionality in the retired theme being used?

    smdaymeansnever,

Thanks for the tip, I tried a new theme and the text disappeared. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that before but I’m glad it worked. Timethief, thanks for sticking it out with me and working to help me solve the problem.
