enable ability to comment as sender of post shared by email

  It would be great to be able to write a sentence or two to friends that I share my posts with by the email option, with a box like the regular ‘Comment’. . .perhaps with a character limit to keep it brief.
  It seems like it would be simple enough to accomplish. Blogger has done this for years, with a 300 character limit..

  Everyone who receives your posts by email can choose to click into the blog and create an actual page view stat and leave a comment.

  Maybe I missed the point here but I don’t have a use for “comment as sender of post” to the posts I publish which are delivered by email to subscribers. I say what I have to say in my posts and I respond to the comments I receive on my posts on the blog ie. on the posts themselves.

  Yes, I agree the email to subscribers doesn’t need a sender-comment ability, but I am thinking of the share-by-email-option to individual friends. . . not subscribers.
