Enable and Disable Comments without a "Screen Options" button

  How can I disable comments on the static front page and enable them on the page where the posts are? There is not a “screen options” button in the top right corner for me to click on and change this.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you go to edit the page you are using for your home page and uncheck the options for allow comments and allow trackbacks and pinbacks… in the “Discussion” section and update the page it should remove the comment box.

  If you can’t see the “Discussion” box, then you’ll need to make sure it is selected in the screen options drop-down.
