Enable Carousel Option
-
I don’t see how to access this option anywhere on my Gallery page that I’ve set up in masonry style. At this point, each image has to be opened separately, rather than the first opened image displaying left and right carousel arrows.

Hi there!
What’s the address of the site you’re working on? Could you share a link to the post/page where this happens?
-
I am working on roncyworks.org. It appears that the carousel option is only available when using a widget and not the gallery content style.

Make sure that the gallery images are in either a Gallery Block https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/gallery-block/ or Tiled Gallery Block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/tiled-gallery-block/
If they are, what is the specific URL of the gallery with the problem?
-
Thanks Max, they are a Gallery block masonary style. The gallery is at https://wordpress.com/post/roncyworks.wordpress.com/108068.

Ah yes, that block does not support Carousel.
As mentioned, the images will need to be either in a Gallery Block https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/gallery-block/ or Tiled Gallery Block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/tiled-gallery-block/

Got it. Will do for next time. It can be converted, but would have to do a number of fixes which I don’t have time for at the moment. But now I understand the difference. Thanks, macmanx.
