enable comments

  Hello,

  I can’t see any comment box for readers to use on my posts? I believe I have enabled comments – I followed the steps in the help section.

  Can you help me?

  The comment box doesn’t show on the main page; it only shows on the individual post pages.

  Hmmm … but I think I just post all my posts at the main page (can you tell I am new and unexperienced?). I better look into that – because if I post on the main page – then why would people visit the individual post pages.

  If you want people to go to individual pages insert the “more tag“. This means that the post will only be displayed up to this point on the main page, and they will have a “continue reading” tag at the bottom, taking them to the complete individual page.

  This is a good idea for long posts anyway, as they might stop people looking further down for things that they might find more interesting.
