Enable File Editing

I need to enable file editing on my WordPress site because I cannot edit my robot.txt file through Yoast without it. Where do I find it?

  • Hi, could you send a link to the site? If it’s a free site here you won’t be able to use that plugin, and I don’t see a Business Plan associated with this account. I’m guessing you either have Business Plan under another account, or you might have a WordPress installation with another host. If you’ll send a link we can check.

Also, the forums for WordPress hosted elsewhere are at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ , though you might need to get in touch with the plugin support.

The site is definitely not free. The site is largegreenfinancial.com

  • largegreenfinancial.com is not a WordPress.com site.

That site was built using the open source WordPress.org software, and is hosted with Bluehost.com – that’s who you’re paying for the site, not us.

For help with using the WordPress software on your site, you can ask the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

For help with the FTP access you’d need to modify site files directly you’ll need to contact Bluehost support, as they control that.
