Enabling a comment to a post
-
I received a comment via email but it doesn’t show up on the blog comment section for moderation. The email also contains no enabling function. What do I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. I see you have a contact form at the bottom of each post, as well as having comments enabled. I’m guessing that comment was submitted via the contact form. If so, you can see it in the Feedback section of the WP-Admin dashboard.
Contact forms work completely differently from comments. Contact forms are a way for readers to contact you privately, and there’s no way to have a comment submitted via a contact form appear on the post. You also won’t get a notification in the admin bar if someone comments via a contact form.
I suggest you remove the contact form at the bottom of your posts, and just use the comment reply box that’s already there, otherwise this will keep happening. You can always make a separate page with a contact form for readers that do want to reach out privately, but don’t use it for every post.

Thanks so much kokkieh for the helpful observation.
I will certainly follow your suggestions re. the contact form and have already seen the comments in the feedback section!
Sure appreciate the quick response. :) -
