Enabling comments on a published post

  I have published a post from a contributor and the comments are disabled – how can I renable them? I have looked at my settings tab but I don’t have the options in there.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  To help with this, take a look at your comment settings. To do this, just go to My Sites > Settings > Discussion. From there, check whether ‘Allow people to post comments on new articles’ is checked (if you want comments enabled, it should be!).

  Click the ‘Save Settings’ button, and you should be good to go!

  The Settings ->Discussion settings only apply to new posts. To edit an existing post go to the WP-Admin dashboard, and from there to Posts ->All Posts. Click the Quick Edit link under the title of the post in question, and check the box next to “Allow Comments”. Update the post.
