Enabling Right-Click to ‘save image as’

Hi there, I have come across an issue which I can’t find the solution for anywhere.
So when right-clicking on any of the images it doesn’t bring up the option to ‘save image as’. There’s only save as ‘Webpage, complete’. I don’t want to save the whole webpage, I want users to be able to save the image. I believe this may be a default content protection which comes with the theme but can’t find a way to overwrite it.Would appreciate if I get help on this asap.

Hi there,
I see that the site is using the Elementor plugin, which can be the reason why you can’t save images by right-clicking on them.
You can start by asking over at the Elementor support forum (https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementor/) and see if there’s a solution to it.
If it’s not something that can be adjusted through Elementor, you can ask in the WordPress.org support forums (https://wordpress.org/support/forums/).

I thought that too, but even the posts page which has been created using Gutenberg also doesn’t allow the right-click on images..

I’ll note that we’re limited to what we can help with since we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Since your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, we’re not able to access the backend of your site to take a closer look to troubleshoot what is causing this issue.
You would need to review all the plugins you have installed on your site to see which one has settings to disable right-click on images across your site. For example, Twenty Twenty-One by default does not block any images, so whoever customized the theme for the website added the functionality in another way.
I would still recommend reaching out to the Elementor support forum linked above as this might be an issue they’ve seen in the past.

Okay so the theme hasn’t been customised, it’s been left as is. I’ve tried going through majority plugins to see which may be causing the issue… Elementor is something I avoided as I didn’t think an editor would cause any issues.
But thanks for the advice so far, I will get in touch with Elementor support and see how it goes.
I’ll keep you updated.
