  I just read blog on here from 2016 that states that our websites will be automatically encrypted with, but as I’m working on an online store, I’m being notified that the site is not secure. Is there something I need to do the make the site secure?

  That’s for sites that are hosted on WordPress.com servers. Is your site hosted here or on another host using WordPress software? Here’s a bit about the differences- https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
