Encryption connection warning using photon
-
Hi – I started using using photon on Jetpack before I had an SSL certificate. I month or so ago I introduced an SSL certificate. I stopped using photon a few weeks ago before I moved to a CDN (Cloudflare). All my cache’s were cleared – but when I load my site with photos that I had loaded to my site when photon was in place I am receiving a warning from Kaspersky internet protection that ‘cannot guarantee domain to which encrypted connection is establised’ – url: i1.wp.com. I understand this is because the images drawn from photon do not have the ssl certificate – my confusion is that I stopped using photon weeks ago so there should not be this issue now. What should I do to resolve this problem?

This response is for the moderator. I had not realised asking a support question would be posted publicly in a forum for all to see. I have managed to resolve this issue myself and would therefore be obliged if the question can be removed from the forum.

kevinmbolton2012 – I’ll close the thread but we don’t delete them unless there’s some kind of sensitive information posted.
If you like I’ll remove your site address. Let me know.
The benefit of leaving the thread visible is that other folks, looking for answers to a similar question can find and reference this.
