End User Document Search

  I’m doing research for my business WP site and am a complete novice. We are hoping to have a searchable document database for our customers to obtain and download things they need. We envision a drop-down that has the available products, the categories of documents available, and then the document itself. Example below is the path someone would take to get a brochure or new business application for a product.

  Ex: Product ABC –> Marketing Material –> Brochure
  OR
  Product ABC –> Applications –> New Business Application

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I recommend hiring a web host and setting up a word-press.org install http://wordpress.org as what you indicate cannot be done on a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

  Thanks for the quick response timethief. Though, the blog referenced above is not the one I am trying to get info on. Our business site is hosted site (non-free).

  We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG installs here. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
