How to remove the comments data from the blog/site if the blog /site owner died and no contacts to connect any of his team members. Appreciate some help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
they do have a dead owner policy and plan in place – I have flagged this for the staff to help
-
-
So, Do you guys have any contact details to contact for my problem resolution? I need to get quick attention on this.
-
If you read the link I gave you – there is a link to the contact form required: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
-
Thanks! I have filled-up Account recovery form but I don’t see Contact form. I never ever meet Dan except phone calls. How it is going to work? I am totally confused.
-
The account recovery form is the correct one – that goes to a group that deals with things such as deceased blog owners, they will get back to you with any further questions. I expect that they have some sort of security in place to keep me from claiming someones blog, but I don’t know what they are.
You will need to follow their instructions

Howdy,
To make sure I understand the situation—you’re seeking to remove comments left on a site, but that site’s owner is now deceased?
-
-
Since comments are owned by the site owner, only the site owner (or in the this case, their next-of-kin once they have claimed the site) can modify or remove them unless they somehow violate our Terms of Service.
Could you let me know what e-mail address you used when you filled out the Account Recovery form and I’ll link these two tickets to save any confusion. Your e-mail will be hidden for everyone except Staff members.
Thanks!

Hi,
Comments are owned by the site’s owner, so only they can remove it. If they are deceased, the next-of-kin can claim the site, effectively becoming the owner. I’m afraid we’re unable to remove or modify comments.

sir, I have send many emails through the site and no one is responding. Could you guys send the site owner a mesage regarding this. It is really great help!

Delete site
To delete a free hosted WordPress.COM blog you must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered a blog to delete the blog. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.

Hi,
The account you’re using to contact us is not associated with the site mentioned. If the site owner is deceased, we need to hear from his next of kin regarding further action on the site.
Once again, unless you are the next of kin of the site owner, we can not help you in the matter. I am now closing this thread for future replies.
