  A very useful plugin to include would be the Endnotes plugin. I want to use my blog to write semi-formally and footnotes/endnotes are a must for me.

  While your suggestion is being considered you can work around it by using page jumps. It’s not an ideal solution as it does mean you have to set up everything manually but hopefully it’s helpful.
